When you click the Buy Now you will be presented with four separate options to choose from. Please familiarize yourself with the following options before you order as we will not do exchanges. There is also more information on live USB at Wikipedia:

  1. Bootable Live: This means that when you set your PC to Boot from USB, you will be able to run a ‘Live’ full version of Peppermint on the USB stick itself. You will also have the ability to Install Peppermint from the USB stick
  2. Bootable Persistent: This means when you set your PC to Boot from USB that not only is it a ‘Live’ version of Peppermint, you will have approximately 2GB of file storage on the USB stick itself. Like a mini-computer living inside the stick you can save files, install software, and save changes on the USB Installation
  3. Loaded with ISO: This option means that we will simply ‘Load’ the most current version of Peppermint on the stick that has been verified as passing the MD5 hash check. You can use this to transfer the Peppermint ISO to many machines for installation or for burning onto a CD/DVD, for instance. This is NOT a Bootable option.
  4. Blank: Needs no explanation. You get the new shiny Peppermint Stick empty, but a clean 4GB to use in any way you see fit.

Please note that you can always erase the contents of the USB stick at any time. Also, please note that Peppermint LLC is in no way responsible for the compatibility of the Peppermint Sticks with your current system. All sticks that are Bootable are tested on the latest hardware specs as ‘Working’ before they ship. The loaded ISO version is hash checked before shipping and that the USB stick is functioning. The blank USB’s are tested to make sure they are functional.
