Peppermint Server Downtime Expected

Hello Peppermint Community,

We’re beginning the process of moving the Peppermint OS project to a new web host over the coming weeks. We haven’t yet set an official date for this move but wanted to let you know what to expect.

We are planning for a clean switch, however, downtime should be expected. This post will be updated when a date becomes available.

Thanks for your patience,

      Hi Skn,
We’re in the middle of a server migration. It will be down until we build the replacement page.

I haven’t been able to get the verification e-mail for the forums (initial, and asking for another verification), it is not in my spam folder. Is this an on-going issue?

Hi Jay, Our email notifications have been down the last few days following the migration. I hope to have it fixed by this weekend.

    Hi there Admin,
I can’t login because the forum says I am a spammer. I am new to Linux and I need the communitie’s support. Please can you allow access. I don’t know how to spam or as what the error means when it says the following :
Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum!
Indian spammer / SEO in profile
This ban is not set to expire.

I was awaiting a reply from a post I made in the forum. Is this because of the server downtime? My username was hellbraker.

      Hi Sanju,
I believe the moderators have restored your account give it another try.

More importantly, I’m genuinely sorry about that offensive response. I’ll have a chat with the moderators about the that reply. It is not acceptable under any circumstances and doesn’t reflect our own community values.

    Hello PM

I have been trying to download PM 8 or 9 32bit to use on an older notebook machine but none of the links seam to work. Is this as a result of your server migration?

I have installed PM 10 on a Dell and a Compac without any issues; however this machine needed to force PAE when I installed Mint 18.1 and Mint 19 would not load, hence looking at an older iteration of PM for this machine.
